Best oysters in town! Small, quaint – you will like everything about the Boathouse Oyster Bar. In my view, it is hard to find any other place that beats the Boathouse Gumbo. Recently they expanded the menu and the seating area, but you will still get the usual bowl of Gumbo and a couple dozen raw oysters.

The gumbo is out of this world amazing, the oysters are outstanding and the atmosphere is even better. Right on the water. Thursday nights they have live music and at 9PM a fireworks show over Crab Island. Everything you could possibly want in a gulf coast experience.

This is a must stop for everyone looking to eat and have some fun!
