Great upscale Mexican restaurant. You will be blown away by this place. The service is excellent. The food is extremely delicious and filling. Definitely holds the top spot for Mexican food in Destin!
Cantina Laredo serves authentic Mexican dishes in a sophisticated trendy atmosphere. It is quite strangely decorated Mexican place. You won't find the typical import beer signs and Mexican hats hanging on the ceiling. The design is quite modern and you can see lots of soft colored wood.

When it comes to the food, you must try guacamole. The guacamole appetizer is pretty large and made fresh at the table by your waiter. It's a good choice to start with.  Then tortilla soup, then 100 other yummy things. But the best of it is shrimp. They also have the freshest, biggest gulf shrimp, simply the best.  The chicken tacos are great and so are the fish tacos.  They serve black beans as a side with their dishes which are so much better than the typical refried beans you get at a Mexican restaurant.

If you ever have room for dessert, you must get the apple dessert or leaches cake!

You will definitely love this place. It is one of my favorite places in the Destin area.
